Nothing runs on money you haven't paid, and nothing is ever owed. Pay the year up front, or pay each period before it starts. Same total either way. Miss a period and your ads pause; your site and email keep working.

The build, once.

Your website is built from your own facts and photos and is yours to keep. The email address is on your own domain and is handed over. Neither is charged again.

Each first payment is the build, the email, our fee for the first quarter or burst, the amount that goes to Google for it, and GST — shown as five separate lines on the receipt, so the fee, the ad money and the tax never blur. From year two, just the pack.

The fine print, in full

Short, because there isn't much of it.

  • Tax

    GST is 10%, on every invoice

    All prices are in Australian dollars. GST is 10% and is shown as its own line on every invoice, added to the fee and Google amounts above. Porchlight Marketing is GST-registered, ABN 43 160 574 931.

  • Ad money

    Unspent advertising carries forward

    If Google spends less than the amount you paid for a period, the difference goes to your next period. It is your advertising money; it stays yours.

  • Our fee

    Earned when the work is done

    The management fee for a period is earned by running that period. There are no cash refunds on a period that has run.

  • Stopping

    You just don't buy the next one

    Nothing renews. When a period ends, the next one starts only when you pay for it. Your site and your email keep working either way.

  • Every invoice

    Two lines, equal size

    Our management fee and the exact amount that goes to Google are separate lines on every invoice and every report. The Google third-party disclosure says why.

  • Who it's for

    We'll say no when we should

    If your typical job is a few hundred dollars, an ad burst can't pay for itself. We'll say so and point you somewhere better.
